Create a new chain

Instructions

Simply click on the above button. This will create a page for the new chain, with the chain template automatically inserted - just replace the indicated areas of the template with the content of your chain. The page will initially be a subpage of your userpage.

Quality check

• At the top of the newly created chain page will be an 'awaiting check' notice, which automatically adds the chain to the category of new chains awaiting check. Other users will then simply verify that it meets the minimum standard required of all chains, as set-out in the first section of the contribution rules.

• If it is decided that the chain does meet that minimum standard, an admin will re-title the page 'Chain ##' - with verified chains simply numbered consecutively. They will also add the chain to the relevant sections of the chain directory.

• If users instead decide that the chain does not meet the minimum standard, and are unable to rectify the problem, or problems, then an admin will place a warning notice at the top of the page, which will also automatically add the chain to the category of new chains possibly in need of revision.

• Users can freely edit chains they, and only they, have created until they have been successfully verified and re-titled.
